What’s the best way to get there?

By Car.

The village of Strathyre is located on the A84.  We are 7 miles north of Callander and just over an hours drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh.  From Glasgow take M80 north then A84. From Edinburgh take M9 north then A84.  On arrival in Strathyre, parking for Strathyre Camping Pods is on the east side in public car park between The Munro Inn and Airlie House B&B.  From here there is sign posts and we are about 30 metres down back path.

Where do I Park ?

On arrival in Strathyre, parking for Strathyre Camping Pods is on the east side in public car park between The Munro Inn and Airlie House B&B.  From here there is sign posts and we are about 30 metres down back path.  The path is a natural path and can be muddy at times.  Lighting along path is by solar powered lights only.

 

Is bedding & cutlery, dishes etc included?
Sure is, no need to bring your own.

 

Can I bring my dog to a pod?
Unfortunately due to size of pods, we are unable to allow pets at present.

 

Are campfires or fire pits allowed?
No open fires are allowed on site.

Do the Pods provide Wifi ?

Yes we do - free WIFI.

 

Do the Pods contain TVs?

Each pod has a smart T.V with in built DVD player, there is no live aerial however there is netflix, amazon prime and youtube and also a small selection of DVD's.

 

Are there shared toilet/cooking facilities ?

Each pod is equipped with all your own facilities to ensure a relaxing break.

 

What are the Check In and Check Out Times?

You can check in from 3pm until 8pm on your day of arrival and pod must be vacated by 11.00 am on day of departure.

Rubbish & Recycling.

As we live in a natural park, we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment and would appreciate your help with this. Please separate as much rubbish as you can and place in the bins provided.
